IQ chocolate test

Dave came home from work yesterday with some kind of IQ test for 4 year olds. So if any of you have a 4 year old in your life, try it out just for fun. I don't know if I have the details exactly right, but here is the basic idea. You put them in a room and give them a bowl with a treat in it (marshmallow, cookie, candy, whatever), and then you show them a bowl with 10 of those treats in it. Explain to the child that you will be back in 5 minutes with the bowl of 10 treats. Tell them that if they don't eat the 1 treat, they can have the 10 treats in five minutes. When you come back in five minutes, if they haven't eaten the 1 treat, then it is a great sign of intelligence.

Of course, my nearly 4 year old passed it! This test obviously is flawed in some ways because things like patience and sugar addiction play a part in it. But it's still fun to try it out! (Unless your child fails, then it's a stupid, stupid test!)

I failed it, it is a stupid, stupid test!
Jk, sounds fun though. I'm glad Isaac held out for the grand prize:)

I am not even going to try that on on Caleb. There is not a chance he would pass. It may have something to do with IQ.
